A snail on a basketball

I set up a new weblog. This is it, you're reading it. I moved my old weblog and you can read that too if you want. The new blog has pullquotes, which I'm sure you're all excited about.

"Hey I installed new blog software" is pretty boring, so here's a picture of a snail on a basketball:

[UPDATE: I can see I need to do some things to enable commenting. Hang on that might take a while but I'll get there, I promise.]

[UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Commenting is enabled, just register an account. No, I don't know how to enable comments from unregistered users.]

To enable comments from unregistered users, you need to give those users permission to comment... so look at the permissions page and take a look at what roles have the ability to comment.

If you need an anti-comment-spam module, take a look at Mollom.

Alright I'll test it. I'm Anonymous!

(but it's really me.)

I'll leave anonymous comments on for now and if it causes any problems I'll either add a moderation step or disable them altogether.

Really you should be creating accounts with the handy links in the side bar over there! Then you can log in and not worry about it.

Wow. I just read the saga of your orders for the Stella amp. I was one of those orders. I heard about the kit from the Make Magazine link. It sounded great, and I thought I could use it with the telecaster style guitar that I built last year. I finished soldering all the components last night and found an old speaker lying around. I tested it this morning, and it sounds great. As soon as I get my hands on a better speaker, I'm going to build a nice wood cabinet to put it in. I'll try post some pictures when I'm finished.

You know why this is awesome? My next project is going to be a telecaster!
