A bold prediction
I’m calling the election for McCain.
Actually, I called it a couple of hours ago, but only to a couple friends on instant messenger. Then I thought, this is silly, I’m always making these predictions but keeping them to myself! So I posted it to twitter. But that’s only a couple more friends, really. Might as well fall flat on my face in front of the entire internet!
Tell me what you think in the comments.
UPDATE: Well, I’m obviously wrong. Hey, that’s why I’m not employed by any major news network!
Gotta look on the bright side though: four years of Biden stuffing his foot in his mouth on a near daily basis, only with more national press exposure!

a prediction or just stating who you want to win? I wrote in Keir for mayor. I’m predicting he will be defeated by a landslide.

No, a real prediction.

Just checking. I’ll bet you $5 my prediction comes true!

If he does win, I think it will be just like the way Bush won his first presidential election (cheating) or the way he won his second (cheating and/or foolish Americans). At least McCain would be an improvement on Bush (I hope).

Bush cheated? How many dead people voted for him? I missed the story about angry thugs with clubs ‘welcoming’ Algore/Kerry voters at their precincts. I guess the Conservative Mainstream Media missed that one.

Bush had his thugs too. It’s a requirement to be elected, isn’t it? I’m not sure which way the dead people voted. It would certainly be interesting to compare the popular vote of dead people versus the electoral vote.

Personally, I wish the dead people would vote more third party. I’m getting bored with the same old story.

It would be unAmerican for dead people to vote for anything other than the lesser of or greater of two evils. Three evils is not allowed.

I firmly believe that both parties are corrupt enough they likely have equal support among the dead.

Are you calling dead people corrupt?
November 5th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
well, they do tend to start rotting after a while. I suppose it depends on how well you pickle them.

Good thing you got it wrong, John
