Jelly Roll
For years I’ve noted the frequent use of the term “jelly roll” in old jazz music. I always figured that it either had a meaning other than the obvious or they really liked their pastries back in the 20’s and 30’s. I finally looked it up. “Jelly roll” according to Wikipedia.
