I just reread the entire series from the beginning and finally finished the last one. I can't say that every single prediction I made came true, but most of them did. One was so obvious to me that I'm surprised most people didn't pick up on it, but those people I mentioned it to after the sixth book came out thought that I was nuts.

Two things bothered me with rereading the whole series. At some point Sirius, Voldemort, and Pettigrew were getting owls when no one knew where they were and people were supposedly looking for them. If owls can find anyone at anytime like the books imply, why the hell didn't they just send an owl addressed to whoever they were searching for and follow it?

The other thing that annoyed me was that the books kept getting bigger and better until the sixth book which suddenly shrunk horribly. The book stood up well when compared to the earlier ones, but right after reading the fifth one, it seemed rather lacking. Thankfully, the seventh seemed to improve upon this.

Wow - you start at midnight? Impressive. We showed up to BN at 11:45 and were number 726, so we got our book at 1:30. I read about a chapter and a half before falling asleep.
