E-Prime

For my plant ecology class, I have to write everything in E-Prime. This basically means that I can’t use any form of the word “to be”. Imagine writing a bunch of papers without ever using is, are, were, was, am, be, been, being, and/or will. If any of these words are used, you get no credit for the assignment. Woo hoo!

    Well I did it. I don’t recommend attempting to write that way from the beginning. I found a good solid brain dump and the word-processor grammar-checker was the way to go.

    Okay I was wrong. The grammar checker got most of the “to be”s but not all. Thankfully the teacher decided to be lenient on the first assignment.
