Fannies and Biscuits
All right, enough volunteering. Tomorrow morning I’m heading out for three weeks of adventuring around New Zealand. First stop, Fox Glacier.
Just so you know, do not say the word fanny-pack in New Zealand. Apparently fanny doesn’t not mean buttocks here. In fact, in New Zealand, it is an offesive word for vagina. Add the pack on to that and you can get all sorts of interesting meanings.
There’s also been a bit of confusion about biscuits. No, it’s not dirty. The wikipedia entry on biscuits reveals all.
