I thought of a method I could use to fight weblog spam, but it would require legitimate commenters to have javascript enabled. Is that reasonable? Does anyone browse with javascript off nowadays?

Reading this account of a cricket match made me realize that I know more about Quiddich, a fictional, unplayable (at current levels of technology / knowledge of physics) game, than I do about cricket, a real game enjoyed by millions of people across the world.
