Friday, December 31st, 2004

Wake up. Trudge to auto parts store. “Sorry, we don’t carry hoses. Try the Napa store down the street.” Trudge to Napa store. “Sorry, we don’t stock hoses. We can order you one.” Back to the motel room. Looked in the phone book for auto parts stores, […]

the post by Warren Ellis that gave me the idea in the first place. Or you could just search google.
[Assuming that all goes to plan, John should be driving back to Minnesota from Michigan today. When he gets back he’ll probably resume […]

Of course, if you don’t love programming, you won’t think so.
Ever wonder how you could script your windows box to do whatever you want? Sure, you could install Perl, but what if you want to do something windows specific, like get a list of devices which aren’t working right in Device Manager?
Enter the Scriptomatic.

Don’t pee in the Millenium Falcon.
[John is still on vacation; this link brought to you by the letter P (of course) and the number 3. You won’t get the number 3 joke unless you know the full and sordid details of the controversial number 3 ban enacted at Michigan Tech in 1995.]
