Crazy But Able

Well, the Padres game was cool. The new ballpark is really, really nice. There are two huge jumbotrons and a bunch of back-up screens all around the park. We had a pretty good view of everything and the weather was so nice. It was just perfect. Also, dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory was super tasty and despite the fact that there were a ton of people downtown for the game we got a seat in a relatively quiet spot in 45 minutes. Traffic back from the game was light and we got home kind of early too.

I went to the doctor again today for my ringworm problem. It just hasn’t been going away and seems to be spreading, it used to just be on my hands but now I have 2 spots on my feet. So I went to the nurse again. This time the nurse helper asked what I was there for and I told her it was for the same thing I was there for last time: Ringworm. She looked at it and said, “Hmm, I’m suprised she diagnosed that as ringworm.” Huh? Then when I saw the lead nurse and told her all of my skin related problems, she said, “Well, it doesn’t look like ringworm.” Why didn’t she tell me that last time?!? Here I’ve been walking around feeling like I’m cursed and I never had friggin’ ringworm in the first place! Damn. So she said it’s just lots of eczema and to use the really annoying cream I have at home for it. That stuff is so greasy! It gets everywhere and it didn’t seem like it was helping last time. Oh, well. If that doesn’t work I’m gonna go to a dermatologist, once and for all. And burn the clinic.
