Carpooling

Oh man, just when it seems things are rollin’ all smooth and everything at work–I get work drama. Or in typical woman fashion, I don’t have the drama yet but am anticipating drama and getting worried. Here’s the deal: At work everybody is all mixed in together and whenever one person is planning anything everyone has to be involved. Like karaoke. Everyone has to go to karaoke and play along. At my last job tellers hung out with tellers and to hell with everyone else. It made sense. My friend Jenn used to work here and when we would plan things we’d just email each other about it becuase if we said, “Hey do you want to go out to dinner tonight?” then everyone else would try to invite themselves and we’d have to put up with them at the dinner table. Ugh. So neither one of us acknowlegdes the other at work and stuff and since she left I don’t talk about her at work. It’s all complicated and we’ve all gone out of our way to act like we just do work stuff and nothing outside the bank. It’s kinda crazy because we’re all such good friends! We have a lot in common and just like hanging out. But the other day I was going to carpool back from out Employee day with Jenn and I told my ride in that I wasn’t going to ride back with him and he let it slip in front of everybody that I was carpooling with Jenn. So, the cat’s out of the bag. I keep waiting for someone here to get all snipy and ask me about it. I may wait forever or it could happen this afternoon. I don’t know what I’m worried about.

Today a really cute customer came into the bank. He was tall, dark, and sexay. And he’s a bodyguard, and he’s smart, and he’s a homeowner. He said that he’s been shot at or well the guy he’s guarding got shot at and I asked if he tried to jump in the way or if he just looked around and acted confused. He said it went by pretty fast. Mmm, fast. Anyway, it’s nice to look at guys like that and wish that my single friend Tiphanie worked at the bank with me. Tee Hee.
