Red Vines
I know it seems kinda late to bring up the weekend but my workload has been distracting. As in there is so little to do I while the time away playing games on Yahoo and end up doing nothing. The weekend was perfect. I still get a warm fuzzy feeling thinking about it. On sat–I had to work but when I got off, we went for a walk around the neighborhood and we ended up getting caught in the rain. Totally romantic. Then we went home and made pizza together and watched ‘Mystery Alaska’ which was really funny. I was pleasantly suprised. Russell Crowe before he turned jackass. On Sunday I made a big breakfast and we lingered at the table reading the huge Sunday paper and drinking jumbo mugs of coffee. After breakfast we caught the 10:45 show of ‘Big Fish’ (it only costs 4.00 if you go to the very first show) and I got a box of RED VINES! I love red vines–quite possibly the worlds perfect movie candy. Lunch at Souplantation followed then 4 hours of ‘The Osbournes’.
Saw a really bad accident the other night. Traffic was stopped and when we finally got to the accident there was a car smashed in upside-down and some guy was laid out on the highway getting CPR. His face was all puffy and scratched up and there were all the crazy emergency lights flashing making the whole scene very scary. There was another guy a little way down the road that was on the ground with a neck brace on and a little farther down the road were more smashed up cars. And it all happened in my little Rancho Bernardo.
Another cool thing: I saw the brinks guy almost pull his gun yesterday when we were in the vault. He was pretty quick on the draw. Me and my super were in the vault and I heard one of the gates rattle and I said in a joking way as if I were scared, “Somebody’s coming.” Then we heard the vault door rattle and the guy whips around and snap his gun free and he’s got his hand on it…then the Mgr opens the door and says all goofy, “Hey guys, I’m going to lunch now.” He didn’t even see they brinks guy had his hand on his gun. Dang. He was cute too.
