Breakaway
I had a funny dream last night. The majority of the population had been wiped out by some kind of plague but somehow Devin and I were immune and still living. I was also pregnant. We were in a dark house in a populated area because I could see out the screen door lots of other regualar looking ranch homes in 80’s colors — like salmon and avacado. The inside of the house had that dark wood panelling that was real popular in the 80’s. We wanted to leave the house because it wasn’t ours and we needed to get away. There was a toddler there from the real owners of the house and he was toddling around kind of confused. In the livingroom there was a couch and on the couch were two lions, lazing. I think they were kind of asleep but I was afraid they would wake up and try to eat one of us, so we had to leave. Leaving was going to be tough though because the porch was covered in long black snakes that were also sleepy looking. I wanted the lions to eat the snakes but I didn’t know how to get them to want the snakes and I was afraid that if I woke them enough to eat the snakes they might try to eat us instead. I picked up the toddler even though he seemed really heavy and I had a huge stomach. We were going to make a breakaway and then I woke up.
I wasn’t afraid just anxious.
