IKEA
Yup, we got a bed. It’s pretty nice-kind of Frank Llyod Wright-ey. It’s nice to get out of bed and just be able to walk away instead of pulling myself off the floor. Devin bought a bed, a shelf, and a chest of drawers. He went to IKEA and they have a lot of european style furniture that’s cheap, efficient, and looks cool.
Dev’s parents came to town this weekend and it was nice just hanging out. It was also nice having a separate bathroom/bedroom than they did. Everything is more polite that way. We went to Old Town and had lunch at the famous Casa de Pico. The majority of their seating is outside under bright umbrellas and all the waitstaff is dressed in either big swoopy skirts or white embroidered shirts. They serve margaritas (of course) in small, medium, or large. So nothing really fancy just comforting. We also went to the mall. The mall has some kind of energy draining field surrounding it. We weren’t in there for very long but we were totally burnt out! I can’t believe some people do that for fun.
The fires should be contained by 6:00 tonight and the weather is a lot cooler. It’s been raining too, what a luxury.
