laid back guy seeking regular girl
I think I’ve found something even more fun than checking out weblogs: Personal ads on Yahoo. Kayla my partner in crime has been looking at blogs and they are pretty funny but those personals take it to the next level fun-wise. It’s better than TV. Her tastes run to the pretty boy type and they say some dumb things. From now on whenever I’m feeling like an idiot I think I’ll treat myself to a few minutes of pretty boy personals. They don’t use spell check, or punctuation, or grammar. The pictures a hilarious. Sometimes they’ll have they’re shirts off, one guy had hosed himself down with water to get that showgirl look going, sometimes they’ll hold kids in the pictures — what a ploy. One guy was holding what Kayla thought was a waterbottle and it was actually a bottle of grey goose vodka and the guy is only 18! She said it was so he’d look cool. One guy’s pic must have been from ‘95 because he had a bag of doritos with a really old design…so, what does he look like now? Curious. The only thing better than the pics is reading the bios. One guy said he was an ex-convict and his style was “bold and cold.” He also mentioned he was white and into white girls about 3 times in a short paragraph–so he’s probably a racist. And here I thought they were extinct. Then I was checking out the competition in men seeking women and found that a lot of the time the girls would give their weight and height in the bio. What difference does it make?
At work I sit directly across from some chocolate chip cookies. So, I look at them a lot. There are regular, chocolate chocolate chip, and some other variation of chocolate chip. They’re for the customers but it’s okay for us to eat them too. Whenever I’m just spacing out in my workstation I end up staring at them. Why? Mystery of the Cosmos.

We (Keir, Corey and I) used to check out emode personal ads. In fact, if you create an emode account so you can view other people’s ads, you can probably find Keir and Corey’s ad if you search for ads within 25 or 30 miles of Lindstrom Minnesota. ;)
