		<description>Yeah, I've gotten the sales pitch before.  No thanks!  I might have the skills, but I don't have the motivation/inclination to be good at it.

It'd be awesome if you guys moved here; I'd have someone to jam with.  As for what I'm doing with the guitar at the moment: I used to play with a thicker pick than I've been using recently, and when I was up in Houghton last week, I didn't have any of the thinner ones so I used one of my old picks, and I was really groovin' to the sound.  So I've been playing around with picks for the past few days, trying to get a good trade-off between good sound/dynamics/overall volume/wrist stress.

I really need to start disciplining myself and start practicing some scales -- I only know the blues scale after 2 or 3 years of playing around with scales.  I think I'm going to take on learning some more of the lead parts to St. Stephen by the Grateful Dead.</description>
