I’m back!
Okay, so I’m back. I meant for my first post back to be pics of my trip and stuff (sorry Heather) but my room is a complete disaster and it’ll take an hour or more just to get to the point where maybe I could put my computer back (I brought it with me on vacation, how geeky is that?)
Right now I’m writing this from an internet kiosk in the UMN EE/CS building. So weird. They use apples for their internet kiosks.
I went to an IT job fair and am going back in a bit, but it’s really dumb because most companies are like “We’re doing this because we’ve always done this, but we aren’t hiring anyone until the spring, if then.”

John, that’s dumb, but that’s corporate America. There’s a budget for the trip, so that money’s going to be spent.

Yeah but you can get plenty of free crap, like plastic slinkys and mousepads and pens with doodads on the caps. As a connesoir of free stuff on the UMN campus, take my word for it - the IT fairs always have the best stuff.
