The people at work were just comparing how many people were in thier graduating class. The russian said seven ninety. That’s 790! Another girl said 490. I was too embarassed to tell them that I had thirty-eight in my graduating class. That’s 38. Laughable.

Well, I’m not homesick right now. Mainly because I keep looking at the temps for Michigan and it’s looking pretty cold. We still have to run our air conditioning but have been trying to cut back and open the windows more on account of our $180 electric bill. I just about had […]

Michigan trip: Day one.

J. Galt This is only interesting/funny as an Ayn Rand inside joke, I guess. I don’t even know the point/punch line, I just recognize it as such. Anyone who has read Atlas Shrugged, feel free to leave explanations in the comments.

Moving Tom’s stuff; sewer cleaners

Thursday, September 25th, 2003

Well, yesterday went mostly as planned. Oh, except for learning that I needed four new tires for my car. I guess with AWD vehicles you have to replace them all at once. I thought the front left one had a slow leak — it really had 5 holes and a piece of […]

laid back guy seeking regular girl

I had this nice update post all finished, and was working on a foofy economic analysis of the costs and tradeoffs of electing or appointing new government officials. I took a break to get gas so I wouldn’t have to in the morning. When I came back I set my keys down and […]

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2003

John I have been to IT job fairs in both Michigan and Minnesota. They are weird and they do stuff like that. The funny thing is that they will tell you that and then give you a call a few weeks later. One thing that I noticed is that a lot of companies will try […]

Well, I karaoke-ed. It was very weird. Of course, I stunk. Other people in the group said I was “good” but I’m pretty sure they were being “polite.” There was one girl with us, Dianne, that sang “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston and just blew everyone away. […]

So I’ve been researching weblogs this week because I didn’t really know what the point was. Happily, there is no point to a weblog. At least the good ones don’t have a point. It’s kinda funny how messed up everyone is. Everyone is always complaining about stuff. “My boyfriend broke […]

I’m back!

Thursday, September 18th, 2003

Okay, so I’m back. I meant for my first post back to be pics of my trip and stuff (sorry Heather) but my room is a complete disaster and it’ll take an hour or more just to get to the point where maybe I could put my computer back (I brought it with me […]
