State Fair part III: pictures!
As promised:
- LED screen closeup (68k): I’ve always wanted to make one of these.
- Oh Mickey you’re so fine! (92k) That’s the video that’s playing there. We came into the fair by the 80’s station booth.
- Oh joy, pre-riced trucks! (61k)
- Think your H2 is a little on the wimpy side? Try adding some of these! (70k)
- The “skyway” with cars on (18k).
- The fun slide put together (83k).
- Crowd (44k).
- Penny Arcade (69k). This was going to be a tribute to PA, but Peggy kept taking pictures of me that were obscured by random passerby. So I took one of her.
- Sleeping with the sheep (70k).
- Sheep Shearing (55k)
- cecold? (51k) If you don’t understand windows filesharing, skip this joke: Give yourself 50 geek points if you saw this and thought “Hmm, looks they screwed up the cecold server link.”
- Anything on a stick. (30k). Anything.
- Spamity spam, spamity spam! (113k) (spamity spamity spamity)
- Spam truck license plate (13k)
- View from the space needle (34k). This picture should give a little more context to the non-minnesota state fair people about the “grandstand” picture I posted last week.
- blah blah blah (50k). I like the whole “modern font as seed art” thing.
- Curious George seed art (70k)
- Hamtaro seed art (38k)
- Genetic Engineering seed art (15k)
- My parents went to the Minnesota State Fair and all I got was this croppy t-shirt! seed art (35k)
- Paul Wellstone seed art (32k)
- I don’t think that’s gonna be a problem. (47k)
- LOTR diorama 1 (62k)
- Happy Eeyore?!?!!?!?? (91k)
- The physical as a reflection of the digital (48k) (”That would be a pain to make, all those little squares,” Peggy said. “Sure, they’re made of different colors, but still…”
- LOTR diorama 2 (48k)
- The not-so-secret society (24k). You should have seen the Knight’s Templars booth; it was hard to get a pic because of the light coming from the Holy Grail. (Somebody’s reading Focault’s Pendulum and making obscure references again!)
- Dancing robot (31k). Okay, so it’s not a real robot, it’s a guy on stilts.
- Is this picture a copyright violation? (53k) (Probably yes. But it’s a damn good painting; too bad the tag saying who did it and what the title is didn’t quite come out like I thought it was going to.)
- Mimsey lookalike (20k).
- Charcoal raven (43k). (Part of a larger sketch.)
- Linux Clone Army (32k). (Marching to Arsian war…)
- That looks like it might pinch (62k).
- Education building (57k). I love the rampant 60’s style buildings at the fair.
- All american recreation (16k). All Americans recreate in these ways. Conform. CONFORM!
- Me and Peggy (14k). This is a screwup, I meant to take this picture in a different way but put my camera into the wrong mode. We went to the little photo booth and got our pictures taken; Peggy has those tho so I can’t scan them in and put them up.
- Truck on rocks (50k). (Just in case you weren’t impressed by the H2 above.)
