We got the baby "discovery blocks" -- each block does a different thing. One has a jingle bell, another one clicks when you shake it, one has a kaleidescope prism (that's the one Peggy is looking through) and one has a yellow filter (the one I'm holding up, and the one I used to take the previous picture.) For a plastic yellow filter it's not too bad -- I just have to remember to clean the baby fingerprints off it before I want to use it, and I need to bump up the contrast on the final result, but hey, it's pretty cool. I think I'm going to steal it and superglue a 52mm stacking ring on it so I can attach it to my lens without needing the extra hand to hold it up.
